Dancing in Grenada and the Dominican Republic

I will be in Grenada this week and the DR next week--any good places to dance?

According to Internet research there are a few good places in Santo Domingo: El Sarten and the many places on Avenida Venezuela. (Not necessarily just salsa, I expect a lot of merengue and bachata there :))

Seconding the Avenida Venezuela (call it just 'la Venezuela'). Also Avenida de España, both streets are where 'classy' discos are.

Romania and London were very nice. Saw all the main sights in "ondon

Internet in Grenada is a bit moody -- As I was saying, saw all the main sights in London. Buckingham Palace is reaaaaally nice. The royals definitely have some great place to live.

Kbitten, you can talk away, I think I *might* be able to find a few free moments during my eight- hour sessions of lying on the white sand beach, underneath a lovely coconut tree, and swimming in the perfect warm, crystal-clear water of the Caribbean, to reply. :)

Although if you want my full attention it's probably better to wait until I get back to NY at the end of the month. :P
