Ok so this is a bit out there....

I did recreational gymnastics for years, could never hold a handstand , maybe a few seconds at best
Then i did yoga, again, couldn't really hold the handstands...
Then I took up salsa about 2 1/2 years ago
I went to yoga class the other day for the first time in about 2 1/2 years and I was able to hold handstands....
Do you think there's anything that I've gotten from dancing on my feet that makes me able to hold handstands?
body tension, body awareness, muscle awareness?
It was most bizarre but quite satsifying!
