USA could get a little lucky due to numerous factors. Problem is there could probably be 30K to 40K undetected infections already due to lack of testing. Next two weeks will be very crucial!
 
Idiocracy at it's glory. The USA only emphasis the stereotype the rest of the world sees....

It's literally as though people have been brain washed by watching too much Mad Max movies and video games..... people of this nation have devolved...

The problem is that is a rational thought if you look at the history of other countries. And the occupation by the U.S of other countries. I like to think that won't happen but more and more I'm worrying about them keeping people inside to set up implementations of destruction whilst the world is distracted.

Though I don't disagree with history, the paranoia creates delusions which becomes a vicious cycle. This is the irrational mind and again a level of entitlement that "my liberties are more important than ensuring my community is healthy."
 
I disagree with your Ssment of my statement. It is very imporyant toa elf quarantine. My mom will be hith risk. I don't want peooke to get sick. Canafa still has international travel which is stupid.
BUT this will be a perfect time for a less scrupulous party to invade somewhere whilst the world isntvreafy to help. Thus setting up a war. Also this will give rise to even more rampant xenophobic feelings. Frustrations will be targeted a Chinese and thus all people and countries with the same physical traits.
Also martial law is not a distant possibility, and our rights are just about equal to health. Otherwise a despot will rule. Military will still get paid and thus have no problem suppressing common folk. It happens in other countries all the time. Its naive not to think it could happen in a more powerful nation.

The military will go on alert anytime there is any threat to the country; SOP. The concern about "the man" ruling has already happened via dysregulation of business and corporations engaging in takeovers and ultimately creating monopolies. Civilians have a higher risk with the local LEOs than the Feds. More powerful and influential nation's which are/moving toward a totalitarian government are the next step. However, the issue of spending the lowering resources to stockpile weapons vs things to help rebuild and strengthen the nation and people is the problem.

Probably the Prague marathon (same weekend) will be cancelled as well... :(

Ofc it will be cancelled. Even if situation in Czech Republic got better all the countries in Europe will keep the borders closed so you would have no way of actually getting to the marathon.

Right now I'm sceptical even about the September edition :(

I am registered and paid for both (May and September) so I expect the registrations to get transferred to 2021.
 
I'm hoping the Irish Congress (June 19 to June 22) doesn't get cancelled. There will be no next year, as the organisers had said that this 15th edition will be their last one. A little early to tell, but probably likely it will get cancelled.
