I'm considering going to the Toronto salsa congress in October (yes, I'm impatient about planning my next vacation 
), October 9-13. I'm thinking of going to the Saturday and Sunday sessions, and then flying or taking a train to Montreal and possibly Quebec City for another few days. What do Canadians (and others) think of this plan? Where else should I consider going? Should I go to the earleir congress days (I mostly want to dance and maybe take a few workshops). Toronto downtown hotels are pretty expensive for that wekeend, so I'm considering renting a car and getting something outside of town - is that going to be worth my while (traffic, parking, distance - wise?) What kind of transport is there between provinces? Are there cheap local flights between Ontario and Quebec? Is there a somewhat scenic train that's not too expensive?
