Richard Bona is from Cameroon. I believe he is singing in his native Douala dialect.

I have seen him perform around New York quite a bit with guitarists Mike Stern and Pat Metheny, as well as his own groups. This is the first time I have heard him surrounded by latin musicians. He is awesome.

I don't know but that would be nice. Great group of musicians. I randomly came across it yesterday while doing a search for the conguero Roberto Quintero ( his cousin Luisito Quintero is on timbales ).
