Best bachata dance songs

A risky thing to admit here but there are bachata songs I enjoy which nearly always have a dominican touch, often US citizens but with dominican roots (best example Romeo Santos). Lately I like this one "Venenosa" from Wilven Bello. From the sound it has also this US-dominican feel and indeed was co-produced by two of the Aventura brothers, so I suppose the singer is also US based with dominican roots. Actually we had done a footwork choreo to it in some bachata menstyle course and for me it's still fun exercising to it to hit the accents. Unfortunately, but not surprising, I never heard it played on european bachata dance-floors.

what is risky to admit and why is it risky?

Many of us like or at best don’t dislike bachata music. We enjoy dancing a good bachata too. Just not European driven versions of either the music or the dance :P translation almost no here likes BS.

Aren’t there three categories now? Dominican, Moderna and Bachata Sensual? I am in Spain which is dominated by Bachata Sensual. A lot of the bachata music in Spain is different from everything else with lots of slow songs and pauses, etc. Allowing for the body wiggles..

Ohhh I've got quite a few bachata favorites!

Ok, I'll stop now, because I could go on and on :D While I love dancing salsa more, I really love a lot of bachata music! :)

You know, less is more. I don't think anyone here will spend time to listen through your whole playlist.
Especially when they sound like Shantty or Sofia Reyes: like singing kids, making it sound infantile, approaching "Dance Monkey". I understand difficult times make youngsters like to dream themselves back into early childhood when listening to this type of music, but tbh many here in the forum are above age forty so this childish music becomes quite awkward to say the least.

To each their own. I don’t think there’s an age limit for music. :)

These are just some songs I’ve personally found are really fun to dance to because they’re a bit faster paced, have nice clear percussion, and/or nice spots in the song to play around with musicality :D
