Beethoven’s 5th Salsa Version!

What can I say about this incredible Salsa version of the Fifth Symphony? It respects the original melody and rhythmic pattern, the combination of brass and Latin percussion is excellent, the marked counterpoints and nuances achieved by the entire orchestra are impressive.
Have you heard it before? Do you think Beethoven would like this version? I would love to see his reaction. What we can't criticize is their tuning, precision, and musical arrangement. Bravo!

You're back! How was the vacation?

I expected it to sound annoying, but it sounds quite good. Probably not easy for the classic musicians to tune in to clave and conga. Unfortunately youtube doesn't say which orchestra it is.

In class we once danced to the famous third part of the 7th symphony, quite nice.

Mostly I'm not a fan of crossover, but this seems to be well-done.

Do you think Beethoven would like this version?

It's not a question of like or not like. A person from 200 years back wouldn't just be able to understand anything of today's crossover music and today's world in general. He would be scared to death and die again.
