awesome song..please please please

I dont know and I relally want it too..
sometimes it reminds me " las estrellas cobo - el dulcerito"..could it be from the same group?anyone know the artist?

It is indeed a swinging track...

In case you're still looking, the YouTube page says the track is "Triste Arrabal" by Roberto y su Nuevo Montuno (I think, my spanish is only so-so!)

I'm absolutely sure that this song is not "Triste Arrabal" by Roberto y su Nuevo Montuno. I have Roberto y su Nuevo Montuno's CD and it's not the same song as the one of the video.

I do believe you cause on a Salsa Forum from Galicia (Spain) two people advanced the following options:

- Version by Rafi Val Y La Diferente

- Version re-edited by Dj Pablo Bat

Hehe,

It seems is not rafi val but a version of Roberto's original done by the singer Papo Cocote (because Roberto is retired and Papo is running the band). Quoting one of the users in the post mentioned by mambo italiano:

La otra es Triste Arrabal, original de Roberto y su Nuevo Montuno. La version que escuchan es de su cantante principal Papo Cocote, quien ahora dirige la banda ya que Roberto se retiro. En ese mismo audio hay una version buenisima de los tema Margarita, Invitacion al Mozambique entre otros.

The post with the discussion in Salsorro is: http://www.salsorro.com/foros/viewtopic.php?p=13073

The name of the album is not mentioned.

This is the only CD I can find by Papo Cacote.

Can't hear very clearly and my spanish is not good, but is the coro repeating something like "<something> morira" (in which case it could perhaps be "La vida se va"), or perhaps "<something> Monina" (in which case it could be "Ramon & Monina")?
