Anyone coming to the Cuban festival in London this weekend?

I'm going on Sunday afternoon for a while. Should be there from 2.30 ish. I'm going on a salsa cruise on the Thames on Sunday evening and thought i'd make a day of it.
 
You'll have to as I don't know what you look like!! If there's space to dance i might even subject you to my lead....You can be treated to my 'five magnificent moves'(TM) in rotation.....i swear one day i'll start putting the same energy into improving my leading as i do to improving my following...but following is more fun dammit!

Er...I did have my hair tied up today, but I didn't get there until about 3-3:30ish - I was wearing a black top and skirt if that helps narrow me down! ;)
 
it was a look-a-like of you lol, this woman had a beige skirt...thought i may have spotted u
anyway did u have fun today? i thought it was a great day, beautiful weather and that sangria was yummy!

Yep - was a great day - music was fab, atmosphere was good and the weather was fantastic - only slight downer was when some random bloke kicked off at me because I turned down his dance offer (ever so politely) because I was looking for a friend of mine - thing is if ever I have to turn someone down I'll always look for them again because I don't like to turn people down but I just couldn't believe it when he just started F*ing and blinding at me!! :?

Luckily I didn't let it put a dampner on the day and had a great time anyway! :D
 
..I was only there about an hour...Loved the music but sun was just too much for me I ended up feeling very ill and had to go home! Missed my Salsa cruise too as headache didn't wear off until about 10pm. I'll have to take a parasol or something next time, i'm totally crap in the heat.
 
I went on Saturday – lordy it was hot.

There was a free beginner’s salsa lesson which I took with my girlfriend – I was her first class and she was good, so good that I’m glad I’ve got a head start!

All in all a fantastic free event – though it left me puzzled. Is there a way to eat a Brazilian doughnut without embarrassing yourself…?

And I must make an effort to get to the Salsa Cruise – I’m always jealous when I hear about it afterwards.
 
Yeah - while you lot were melting in the salsa sunshine, I was melting on a 10 mile hike around oxfordshire!! ;)

All went well though...

I agree about the salsa cruise though - it's one I need to get round to doing sooner or later :D
