Any1 heard of this band from the 70's????

Orquesta FM (from the 70's)

Not sure if thats how they spelled it but this is what a coworker told me.
Just trying to find any info on them cuz we have a coworker that played for them & supposedly from what he's saying, they were pretty big. Not sure how big they were since I never heard of them and I heard just about all salsa from the 70's.
Any info would be great. Thanks!!!
 
1) he might be pulling your leg ...... as people are known to do that when it comes to music.........

2) it might be some unkown band that wasn't pretty big but played around a bit....

3) it might be a band that you do know but the name is getting confused with an album name or a club they played at maybe?

I've never heard of them either but I'll ask around as I know there's countless of bands that nobody knows of that recorded some good stuff.......

p.s. heard of all salsa from the 70's? wow.....last conversation we had seemed that wasn't the case........
 
the only thing i can think of is that maybe they were a local band. but 4 some reason the name sounds familair but i think that name belong to an old cuban group from the 50's that i believe i saw somewhere online and yup, i definitely agree with the pulling of the leg.
