Any tips for relaxing shoulder to forearm (in basic movements, not partner work)?

Recently I purchased an online Casino course from Messina. I like his clear and concise descriptions. I also like his minimalist body movement that still looks very good.
His general body movement section is quite good for the lack of crazy technical explanations. It is light on shoulder movement etc and focuses on posture and torso.
The ladies styling is still not bananas but she adds shoulders to the mix, which actually is conducive to "linear" mens solo basic.
When practicing both (I do practice women's movements to gain greater insight) I noticed that despite my best efforts and without realizing it, my shoulder to past the elbow looks very very stiff
I am not flexing, don't feel like I am engaging it and am not even trying to artificially move it Oddly atm it is on the left side 2hen before someone commented about my right side being stuff.
I am not sure how to loosen that area to allow proper torso to wrist movement. Watching myself to some shines is where it REALLY shows. Very disjointed. And tips or drills?
Keep.in mind I DO practice this stuff every day so it isn't that I am not focusing. And please don't say "work on isolations" as that is not the issue (also my nerve problem really hampers range of motion and I must keep everything small).
Thanks.
