    Need opinions from experienced dancers

I am going to reply your questions without looking at other guys' responses. In social event, I have a code. I know popular followers are in high demand. I will not hoard a girl for many dances. Two songs are enough. I consider those guys who dance with the same girl song after song ass...

My QAnon theory is: You can certainly tell who shacked up who by observing the way they dance together in all sensual dances. ;)

It's good that you have new stuff to explore. I am surprised that you have not done that already. To me, Kizomba is heavily rely on the music itself. When the music suck, it sucks the most for kizomba compare to other dances. Kizomba also took too far with some styles, I find it's difficult...

Developing a Positive Reputation in the Dance Community

You guys are crazy. :D When OP asked that question, I sensed that she noticed the intention from that guy was not pure for dancing. You need to trust a girl's intuition. Later, she confirmed that she was right. I do believe there are a lot of guys are looking for a relationship/or a...

Developing a Positive Reputation in the Dance Community

You: I am not sure about Thursday. My boyfriend/husband is taking me to our favor restaurant. He planned the whole night as a surprise for me. If he says: that’s fine. Next time, we can go together to the “next dance event”. Then it’s fine. if he says: oh okay. And he won’t approach you...

IMHO, all the close quarter dances requires more connections than Salsa. From Zouk to kizomba will be an easy walk. Salsa is not the first type of dance that I learned. I even learned bachata before salsa, I never felt salsa required much connection compare to other dances. I also took a few...

    Is sabor overrated?

I always thought it's a good thing to have some latin flaor in your dance. Just the right amount. So you don't look like a textbook or a try hard to be latino.

    Sometimes Dance Rejection is Better

This is my shallow mind trys to rationalize it: She might have thought that's some online dating guru ********' strategy that pretend not recognize the girl, therefore to leave an impression to the girl who is always surrounded by admirers. If you are right, then I would have been no...

I have this girl from my previous dance studio, who I thought is on the mutual understanding with me that we don't enjoy dancing with each other, therefore don't ask for a dance. I have not asked her for a dance for nearly a year now. But she still make the dramatic moves to avoid me. I was...

    Sometimes Dance Rejection is Better

I swear I get blacklisted by girls for the stupidest reason. This girl, She's a beautiful girl with very nice body. She's also a good dancer. Last year, I dance with her in one event and a week later I ran into her again. She asked me do you remember me? I hesitated for a second because...

This just happened to me yesterday. Honestly, the best I can do in that scenario is just hope the song will be over soon. Then move on.

Getting bored - how to continue to learn and have fun?

This thread is under the assumption that you still want to dance after getting intermediate level. What I experienced the friends round me now, is more like: it's time for they to move on to other enjoyable things in life and put dancing on an indefinitely hold. That seems happen a lot lately.
