Hello,

I'll be visiting Bergen, Oslo, Stockholm and Copenhagen in August. Was wondering if you can recommend any places for salsa dancing in these cities?

I have only visited Paris and Istanbul before, went salsa dancing there too - loved it. Friendly people, dancers of all levels, great fun night overall.

During this vacation, I plan to be in Denmark, Norway and Sweden for a total of 18 days. Any input about salsa and bachata places would be very helpful, thanks.

Norway is ultra expensive. I didn't dance in these countries, but be prepared to spend some dosh.

I suspect that Copenhagen would have the better scene...

So.. I did end up dancing in Stockholm. I was there for the Cuban salsa festival and I also went to SSD studio quite regularly as I was in town for a month. The metro is easy to use in Stockholm, and the SSD studio is very close to a metro stop. There is a salsa room and a bachata room. Nice mix of people and always busy. They have mambo nights and Cuban nights. I always enjoyed myself although people tend to start going home around 10.30pm which is the opposite of many places that I danced at in Eastern Europe!
