New timba

For those who don't know yet, Alexander Abreu & and Havana d'primera and Maykel Blanco will do some shows in Europe in the next few months.
Both will play back to back two nights in a row for a festival in London. I'll try to see Havana D'primera at least as I'll see Maykel blanco few weeks later in Warsaw.

Cool. HdP and El CHacal will be playing in Stockholm - I'd prefer HdP and SM :)

IN terms of new timba - the official video for El Artista and in terms of their faces when they see the rehearsal venue - hey, Salsa Mayor and Klímax were rehearsing in a theater like (that when I was at their rehearsals a few years ago.

Also available on Spotify (and that's quite new: 2 weeks max).
Is this "Maltratando la tela" the version recorded with the previous Azucar Negra singers? Sounds like it is, I'm not sure.
I don't know since the digital versions don't include credits (that's why I always prefer hardcopy). I will have to compare the two and see if I can hear a difference but right now I'm out of town and don't have all my music with me.

I'm not even sure if this is sarcastic or not.
I don't think you meant to be sarcastic ;) I'm no fan of remakes but in cases where the author of the song does their own version I am more accepting. That doesn't mean I'll like it as much. I almost never like a new version of a song as much as the first one except in the case of Pupy and Van Van when they are doing updated remakes of their older hits.

It actually wasn't sarcasm...when the song came on, because it is named "Pa Que Se..." I didn't suspect it and it was a really nice surprise, but it looks really sarcastic due to the many versions of it (to the point I even doubted myself!).

Somehow when LQSS and LVV record remakes, the feels a lot more "legitimate". I probably have no idea what i am talking about.
