I need HOT summer salsa music

Hi!

In my latest salsa video project I need Hot Summer salsa music.

The starting view of the video is the Gothenburg habour, cranes, ferrys sunset, ships. People sit on the terrace drinking wine & bear. A after-beach feeling with an urban touch. Then when it is getting dark - the salsalife explodes.

Two differnt types may work:

1. Something starting up slow and gentle with a summertouch like waves rolling into the beach. Hot and Lazy....then hot and quick. Different tempos and beat.

2. Something like Summer in the City with Loving Spoonful

Does anyone know if there is any salsaremix of this song?
Or do you have anything else to suggest?

something with an urban touch, makes me think of salsa-ry stuff mixed with reggaeton, or like daddy yankee - sabor a melao, with that salsa singer ( i cant remember his name at all :shock: )

but im pretty sure reggaeton is too fast and not what your looking for, sorry im no help!

O.K finally i remember his name Andy Montañez y Daddy Yankee

But this song with Clan 537 is cold as an icy winter. You can hear the wind in the beginning and I also guess the text is about problems. So this song I cannot use. But I want the same kind of intro and way of telling a musical story. Its is so very urban with the hiphop beat.

Do you know something similar? But more like summer?

I think mongo santamaria's amanecer would go rather nice with the beginning of the video... It is soothing, mood setting, romantic... However, it doesn't explode in any one section, which means you would have to edit it and add something else for the beginning of the dancing section, maybe Willie Colon's/Hector Lavoe's Aguanile.

Amanecer is nice because of the story behind it, which to me, goes well with your video display.

It sings of dancing until dawn... We'll that might just be all they say... "Vamos a bailar hasta el amancer"

Mongo Santamaria's Mambo Mongo, or Sofrito are perhaps more along the lines of a complete song with what you are looking for...
 
Check out :"Rumbeando en el solar" by Dave Santiago and Latin Affair. Its a smooth but very intense mid tempo descarga/salsa track I wrote,arranged and recorded with Dave.
