Bands at FIC 2023 (Paris)?

Does anyone know who's playing this year at the FIC in Paris? Apparently there will be a concert about Timba in the 90s (3 concerts in total), but I couldn't find a lineup.
I'm tempted to just go to El Sol instead and catch Elito and Tromboranga...
 
Will FIC be in Paris this year? According to Facebook it will be in Orange again (en el quinto). I only heard about the Topic "90" and 3 concerts but I don't know the line up. I saw Elito Revé in April, they are alledgedly coming to my city in November, and I may go to HEB. I prefer to see them at events where I know the crowd will go crazy and not at events where most people don't care. Also: El Sol won't be in Warsaw this year and more difficult to reach.
 
You're right, it's not in Paris. I should pay more attention haha.

And yeah, the crowd is surely important. Whenever I've been at El Sol I haven't been impressed with the crowd, but maybe they're not much into Cuban...
 
I liked the party at El Sol on the Cuban floor last year. Although not really big, I had some really awesome dances there (especially this very young cute Polish girl I danced to Mi Música with). But the concert will most likely be on the big Salsa floor (like Alexander Abreu in 2021 and El Nino in 2019) where people are used to Salsa Romántica.

I've seen salsa dancers supporting Cuban bands many times in Warsaw. Even los Van Van, that played badly. Once though the Cuban band went into chattering for 15 minutes. I left.
 
Yeah, the parties I've enjoyed too. And I didn't mean it was horrible in the concerts, but the energy is not quite the same.
 
A guess from my side: Giraldo Piloto will be at FIC this year. They have him as a background song for a publication for FIC 2023 and, as I just remember, the organizer of FIC contacted me to ask whether I wanted to host a concert of Giraldo at his tour in Europe 2023.

For me the same. But I think there will be 2 other bands as well and videos from FIC just look amazing. But I have already 3 festivals with 3 concerts in September and October, so I'm not sure if I need more.
 
First concert will be Giraldo, second concert Wampi, third concert something 90s/2000s. I like Wampi but I'm not sure whether a Reparto concert at a Timba event works.
