Plenty of minneapolis dancers are on the fb group salseros y salseras, there may be peeps posting for room mates.

Are you arriving early enough to join the Bulgarian restaurant outing? We always go to a Bulgarian* restaurant on the Friday of the congress and we have to go early because people don't want to miss the dance show which starts at 9pm.

* One of our local instructors-djs-cheverre chicos is from Bulgaria.
 
I will be landing around 9 pm so won't make it to dinner unfortunately. Maybe we can do lunch/early dinner on Saturday or Sunday with other SFers who are attending?

I'll look up the Facebook group, thanks. I have friends in Chicago I could stay with, but given that I plan to be dancing all night and my flights arrive and leave from O'Hare, it will be much more convenient to stay at the congress hotel.

I will probably get a party pass (the concerts and DJ parties, no shows). The workshop schedule is not posted yet so depending on whether I see anything interesting I may attend a workshop or two.
 
You're coming to CHI, yeah! I may have a splittable room...i booked one when they were $99/night and I will see if a friend still wants to go half on it. And I have to officially meet you this time bailar y tocar.

Sounds like a plan. SF poster combo who has also been to Cali and normally dances on2 usually goes to the congress too. He'd be the other tall gringo who can dance and is at the congress.
