Socials are definately important to try the stuff learned in classes because only there leading will be truly learned. But most girls during socials and during class lack timing, a decent frame and some don't step on the counts which in terms makes practising quite hard. Usualy people tend to...

Perhaps we should switch salsa scenes :P Finding a girl with the same dedication and passion to practise is not easy here. I did the whole 'practise on a guy' thing but that doesnt realy work for me. But im curious to how you and the rest do your practising :)

Well...unfortunately i don't have the luxury of having a place (besides my own home) and someone to practise with. Trying to do the things, i learn during salsa practice, during a social makes me feel like im being fobbed off. Because i know im not gonna be able to do it right or not at all 90%...

How do you guys practise your combinations properly because i have a hard time doing so. I already practise the hell outta shines at home, the dedication and motivation is there to practise my butt off but frankly, depending on socials to become better isnt enough.

Is this going to be some kind of shine battle or just a compilation of the SF community with everyone doing his own shine?

The only thing i usualy drink at socials is water, with an occasional soda in between.
