Three cheers for streaming radio!

I'm the first to admit that I'm new to salsa music. You just don't hear it a lot round here (South Wales.)

What I've found to be really cool is just listening to streaming radio on Winamp. There's two stations, Salsastream and Radio Macondo. I've been enjoying just putting them on when I'm at the computer. When a tune comes on that particularly gets me I pop open a new browser window and find out about it.

It's made me spend a shameless amount of cash on Amazon

Any other good streaming stations out there?

For people who are members of live365, there's the salsafix radio from our member Jambo. Since I'm not a member, I prefer and recommend to listen to hardsalsa.com.

I cannot listen to live365. Neither as a lurker nor a member. It stays silent all the time. (The loudspeakers do work).

Is there a license problem? Batanga.com do not broadcast outside US any more. What about live365?

I had a try yesterday night with live365 and the "salsapicante" radio and I was able to listen to it. So I think there's no problem with streaming to europe, but maybe you've experienced some network problems?
