Hello everyone!! I'm new to the forum and to Salsa.
I'm from Puerto Rico. Just wanted to give everyone a Head's Up on the Salsa congress. It's been great and fun!!! and even for me that I'm a beginner!!.
El Gran Combo, Andy Montanez, Roberto Roena, Sonora Poncena and many more. It's absolutely wonderful experience. It feels good that Salsa is still outthere (since it's not getting enough airplay in FM radio here in Puerto Rico-- it's been replaced with Reggaeton).
I have to say sometimes its a little intimidating to just go out there and dance with all those professional dancers. It's absolutely fun to watch and learn all the different styles and moves. Plus the different places people come from.
