I'm trying this morning (9am GMT - 3am your time, I think) and I'm getting nothing. Wondering if there's anything there or if I'm firewalled out.

Unfortunately, it is a college radio station with mostly college student hosts. I am one of the few non-college student hosts and the only host that features Latin music other than Reggaeton.

After my show, I turn on the automated system; which is supposed to play a little of everything.

I only have the one day and time as given to you in my signature block below. I used to have two 4 hour shows but, after two years of doing them both I got burned out and had to let one of them go.

I always open and close the 100% Salsa segment of the show with one of my mixes. In another thread I mentioned that I will open the next show with a group that you told me you like.

Also, for the next show, Wednesday, December 13th, I will continue to feature Salsa music that was released and/or being promoted by the labels, in 2006. Just a few of the songs were re-released by the labels in 2006, but were originally released before then. In any case, you should enjoy the variety.

Just changed my user name, Let's face it...I didn't seem to be 'just passing through' anymore :D Jambo is my nickname, and not quite as much of a mouthful :)
 
I'm going to throw in another El Caobo Salsa mix since I have more time than I anticipated for the first 2 hours. I've updated the playlist above.
 
Of course the Ray Barretto song is called "Yo soy el terror." I had rushed to type it in and mis-named it. It's correct in the playlist now.

Has anyone heard the Bachata version of Shakira/Alejandro Sanz's "La tortura?

It's by Davicito Paredes and it's very hot! Bachata lovers will really enjoy it. It's coming up!
