What Is The Best Major Event In England For On2 Dancing?

I hear about the London Latin Festival, Mambo City 5 Star, UK Congress, GBSEx, etc. I'm interested in hearing your thoughts on what is the best event for On2 dancers and why. Some of the things I look for were pointed out in the poll of what dancers like in a salsa congress, such as good social dancing, good workshops, and also an event that attracts the best dancers and one that provides value comensurate or in excess of the price.

MamboCity's 5 Star Congress is a great event and I love it - smallish but high-quality and friendly. Lots of on2 dancers. Shows not too over-long. Good range of workshops. Great social dancing. Convenient location. Thoroughly recommended.

I didn't go to GBSEx but everyone who went seemed to love it, and given that it was organised by Salsology, it probably had a high on2 ratio and good social dancing.

Not sure if the UK congress will be resurrected (there was no UK congress 2008 ). Don't know anything about the Latin Festival.

GBSEx 2008 was heavily on2-skewed.

As for UK Congress 2007, it had a roughly 50-50 mix of on1 and on2, judging from all the dances I had throughout.

Haven't been to any MamboCity 5 Star Congress so I can't help you out there unfortunately.

For 2008, the event was deffinitely GBSEx, even though I had missed the last day and a good part of the second night(thinks like this hapen, when you have to catch a flight at 6.00 AM on the next morning).
UK Salsa Congress 2007(at least for me) was faaabuuulllooouus(not entirely due to salsa related reasons:D) and was mostly on2.

so do you find that the taste of dancers is matching the congresses...meaning that the on2 movement is gaining momentum?

I can't speak for other dancers throughout the UK, but for me this definitely suits my evolution as a dancer - I have a better feel for on2 now and GBSEx was my cup of tea.

Salsology (who organised GBSEx) has always been renown for their on2 tendencies, so no surprises there.
