Are there any cds out there, that are cds that every salsero needs to have, that you actually don't have?????

For me, I have everything from Barretto, Colon, Palmieri, etc, etc, etc but the 1 main cd I never bought and still for some reason don't buy is:

Justo Betancourt: "Pa Bravo Yo"
I know I know, I'm crazy!
LOLOL

great cd. I love Justo. While Pa Bravo Yo is a really popular track on that album, I really like "Una Audiencia Muerta" and "Catano"

I'd recommend the other Conjunto Borincuba album that was done in 78 called "Aqui". There is a couple of awesome songs on there, but my favorite is Mentira. I never hear it at the clubs, but hopefully some DJs wake up to how awesome that track is.

I'm not a big fan of Celia Cruz (gasp) soI'm proably lacking most of her stuff.

You ain't the only 1. Never been crazy about her either but her stuff with Pacheco & Willie are outta this world.

too much stuff.....hahaha....it stresses me out

I've never really been a big fan of Bobby Valentin.........and I think I own a handful of his cd's/lp's.........despite many people's opinion of his music.....I'm not big on it personally.

El Gran Combo - - one day I'll have the entire collection..................I think I have about 1/2 more or less.......but there's just so many!!!!

Me too, Bobby Valentin never been my cup of tea. Believe it or not, I heard most of his CLASSICS from that live cd that he released around 2000 Vuelve A La Carcel. La Boda De Ella cd, another 1 I don't own.

But El Gran Combo, I think there's only like 2 or 3 I may be missing. The Merengue album I can't find anywhere. Whether in the stores or on downloading sites. My guess is that its discontinued.

You definitely should get some Bobby Valentín cds!

Celia has some great stuff out there! You have to find it though. It's one of those scenarios where you'll only get one or two tunes for the dance floor on an album, but I assure you that that one, or those two, would be extremely hot!

Ohhhhhhhh so then its like the same thing with Cheo Feliciano from what I heard. You'll get a cd of his & outta 10 songs there will be 2 hot swinging salsas & the rest are boleros.
