First a bit about me, I've been dancing salsa for about 3 years now on and off. I prefer Cuban style salsa. I'm not classically trained, and can't pick shine routines up straight away. In my younger days, I was a 'dancehall queen' on the London reggae scene, so body movement is second nature to me.
Right the review, The DVD is about isloations, it teaches you how to torso, shoulder and hip isolations. It also gives you a shines routine and 2 dance routines. The isolations were taught very clearly and repeated twice. For the hip isolations, she shows how to use this in your dancing, but doesn't do the same for torso, which I thought would have been nice.
The shine routine is long, and would only really go for that song, but there many moves you can pick from it. Each move is explained clearly, and you can also watch the move done with Iris facing the same way as you, which I thought was a good touch.
The dance routines, I personally wasn't too impressed with, I didn't think they had any place on a ladies styling dvd, but that's just me.
Overall, I like it, thought it was a good DVD
