The Holiday Season

So, when does the holiday season start for you? Usually, for the retail world, it starts in October but for every one in the real world, it's start much later. I'm a Christmas season nut so I start in July with music. Probably has something to do with it being hotter than a lava flow and during that time, I need some cooler weather. :lol: What gets you in the spirit of the season? Is it a song, an event or the month of the year? My tradition of putting up the Christmas tree usually begins Thanksgiving Day after dinner but this year I did it a little early. Got me in the mood, pronto! :banana: What about you? :)

susually holidsys start by the end of november.
anything can get me into the mood. but i think December has the biggest effect on me :bouncy: weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee cant wait till i see my Bro and sis this season ..i miss them .

Well i do love xmas, but i gotta admit this yr im dreading all the present buying, i just dont have the time or spare cash lol.

Usually my tree goes up beginning of Dec, and i have silver sparkly and white decorations.

My turkey is fantastic! Didn't cook much this year since it's only me and I have to be cool on the carbs. So it's just turkey, greens and rice. Pumpkin Cheesecake and coffee for later though. :banana:

I'm watching my diet too but you're right, it's the holiday so I'm going to enjoy the feast as much as I can. Tomorrow back to the restrictions. :lol:

So I am currently selling christmas trees as my full-time job and there is christmas music playing where I work 24/7. This is my first christmas away from family and I dont like it very much. I have a nice tree though :)

my christmas will start on sunday when i go to pick up my boyfriend from the airport, he lives in canada and i live in ireland so im not ready to start celebrating until he gets here!!! Christmas shopping starts monday morning. On friday me, my SO, my parents, my brother, his SO and two friends of the family from greece are going to a house we rented on the west coast of ireland for 10 days, should be nice!!!

So I'm not going home for Christmas until the 24th and I'm completely alone because both of my roommates left for home yesterday and they are the only people I know in this city. Homesickness is starting to set in just little. It's ok though because Ive got 5 full seasons of FRIENDS to keep me occupied!
