Hey team,
Thought perhaps we could make a thread of little hurdles we have overcome in our dancing.
*inspired by OPMs16's friend who felt down about her dancing.
so perhaps we can share little things that made us struggle/question ourselves and our involvement but that we pushed through he he
* and that it was worth it!
My turn starts...................now:
- rejection: 1st 3 girls I asked to social dance all said no for their reasons. Later became friends he he.
- Had a girl say I had bad breath when dancing (later realised I misunderstood with the nightclub music/signing he he but for some time thought this to be the case. Silver lining was I improved my oral hygiene anyway ha ha.
- Have fallen over, tripped over, given grevious bodily harm to several toes (mine and others) and every other act of un co-ordinated movement that would make the 3 stooges proud he he
- Have done something SO CONFIDENTLY and UNSHAKABLY as certain to later realise/learn it was wrong.................................*hello humility and apology

- Have had great dances, bad dances and everything in between.
- Have been laughed at and put down for my spins to then surpass the same people and then get compliments and best of all to then help them improve their own spins immensely
Anyway, the point is that it is a journey and like all good adventures there are highs and lows but its just a matter of making the best of each situation you have.
So feel free to share everyone. Its nice to know we are all human (as most see the polished dancer assuming they were always like that and only beginners/non elite trip over/get rejected etc he he
The funny thing is that these 'lows' often make the best stories ha ha.
