San Francisco dancers: openion on Ricasalsa intensive

I have been taking Cuban Rueda classes for 2-3 months, and I am comfortable social dancing Casino style. I want to learn some Club Salsa. I prefer On1 since I can easily transition from Cuban. I am thinking of enrolling in Ricasalsa's 6-week intensive program. Has anyone done this? I want to be a good social dancer; absolutely no interest in performing. Is this program a good fit? I need to get better at leading and eventually get better at interpreting music. Right now my social dancing is nothing more than laboriously executing turn patterns with some freestyle "shines" thrown in for a good measure! Usually, experienced women (at the clubs) would not want to dance with me the second time (no surprise). I have a long way to go. At the same time I would not want to waste time in a program that focuses too much time on performance style dancing. I have a choice between Salsamania's 12-week program and Ricasalsa's 6-week. I could not do both since they overlap. I live in SF so Rica is more convenient, although Alameda is not that far away. Should I bother enrolling in either one? Which one is better for social dancers?
Thanks.

I don't think the regular SF bay area members on this forum have taken either of the intensive courses you mentioned. If you want to improve your basic fundamentals and social dancing at a faster rate you can't go wrong with either. Short of taking intensive progressive series as the ones you have quoted, your only other option to become a better dancer at a faster rate, is to take privates. AFAIK neither of the program is geared towards performance training (I could be wrong, you might want to ask the respective instructors regarding that).
