Guideline #9 - May I post promotion information regarding events, announcements and adverstisements?

Posting events, announcements must be in the Event Announcements and Ads section and are limited to "active" members of Salsa Forums. Members who join and posts for the sole reason to "only advertise" and not participate in other areas of the forums, will have their posts deleted. Please avoid posts that merely provide a link to another site. (ex. "Check this out: www. blah .com). Please include information about the link how you think it would be beneficial for the other members.
