[Holding post for final list submission]

Here's a little compilation we'll put together. I'm in the process of organizing it, and I guess it's on me, but this is the process I have in mind.

Today is 6/4/2008
Deadline #1 - Initial list of 25 songs should be posted (only 3 of the same artist can be on the list) - 7/4/2008
Deadline #2 - A total list will be compiled based on popularity and ordered by a certain yet to be choosen panel - 8/4/2008
Deadline #3 - SF as a total has the opportunity to debate the submitted list for final approval, panel shall use its own faculties and only use community input as a rough guideline. Final list to be posted - 9/1/2008

I also need 3 people, I guess I'd be one of those three to be on the panel. I've randomly choosen to have a panel of 3, but that's just arbitrary. Volunteers should be around for the next three months and have for the most part the songs that are posted. They should also have an open mind to what and why certain songs and genres are choosen and the ability to remove personal bias.

Let's also not have purely high tempo songs that only advanced dancers enjoy. A medium and slow tempo song here and there won't hurt anyone.

Is this songs released in 2008? Or any song ever written before the end of 2008?

not limited to 2008, if someone could take the 2008 out of the title that would be kind.

I just didn't want to make it as if this list couldn't be redone a year from now.

Songs do not have to have been released in 2008. This was all motivated by the discussion in the Dutch 100 thread
