Salsa CD's to buy

guys,
im a newbie here...just started my salsa lessons.can u guys suggest nice CD's to buy tp play in my car?sorry no MP3's as dont have a mp3 player yet

I don't know many CD names..
hmm... with mp3's you can convert them to Wav files very easily, with a simple freely available program called CDex. these files will play on pretty much any cd player. so if u do get any mp3's, just convert to wav format and burn to a cd and ur fine.

Mark Anthony has a salsa cd, I dont know the name of it but its the one with Valio le Pena and Ahora Quien on it. I love that cd and its a great intro into salsa!

He released two albums within a couple of weeks of each other. They contain mostly the same songs :D

However, Valió la Pena is up-tempo, salsa stuff, while Amar Sin Mentiras has more ballads. They're both great albums and both contain the tracks Valió la Pena and Ahora Quien. Also included is Escapémonos, a duet with his wife, J.Lo.

The version of Valió la Pena being playing the clubs is normally the faster version but I've heard the slower one played and I'm coming around to dancing to it :D

the last cd i bought was by: Los Nemus Del Pacífico
the album was: Best of Los Nemus Del Pacífico: Salsa & Son

i'm currently loving it. the voice of the singer is so mellow. it could definitively play very well in your car. :D
