Hello to all, I just got my Men's Footwork with Fransisco Vasquez dvd in the mail. The delivery wasn't so great. After about 6 weeks I finally got in touch with them and asked where my dvd was and they re-sent me one that day and I got recieved it a week later.

If you've ever seen Fransisco dance it's exactly what you would expect. It has 4 really good Los Rumberos style shines, each taking up about 4 counts of 8. He doesn't really break down upper body styling but you can get some good ideas by watching him do the shines to music. He does break them down numerous times from both the front and back. My only disappointment is that I wish he had put a little more material on the video, but I think if I learn those 4 really well it will be a huge addition to my free-style dancing.

Also if any of you guys really like Los Rumberos style LA shines my teacher in memphis has a men's footwork dvd. His name is Edgar Mendez and was one of the first members of Los Rumberos and originators of LA style. The only place I know to order his dvd is from dancefreak.com. The dvd has 5 shines broken down from the front and the back, and he shows a few ways to break off into a shine from partner dancing.

All the shines in both dvds are intermediate/advanced.

Thanks for the review! I for one, am on a shopping spree right now and I shall use this review in my decision process. Or maybe I'll just buy everything in sight.

Have you watched his brother Luis Vasquez's shines video and if so, how would you compare the two? I thought Luis' tape was worth the money, for footwork but not upper body styling. They must be telling each other how to do videos because he didn't speak a word about upper body styling either.
