Please realize that SF policy is to reserve posting of ads and websites to regularly participating members.
...in other words, (a) we'd love to have you participate in our community, but (b) don't be surprised if your posts get deleated in several days or so otherwise.
I'm only donating to the Salsa Forum. If you or anyone wants to delete, thats OK with me...I'll just move on. There are other communities where I am accepted.

I could not find any commercial interest on his site, just a lot of really interesting salsa videos that I appreciate. Regard the link as being posted by me as I am a regular member of this forum. :D
DCR, it isn't directed to you personally. As moderators it is a duty for us to inform our members about the forum guidelines (http://www.salsaforums.com/guidelines.php). Thank you! :)

Hi DCR. It is not a question of whether you're accepted here or not. We don't mind at all when our "active" members post announcements, ads, or even websites pertaining to Salsa. In fact, we encourage or "active" members to do so. The issue here is being an "active" regularly participating member as SDSalsaguy indicated above and is clearly noted as such in our forum guideline below.
From www.salsaforums.com/guidelines.php
SF Guideline #9. Posting events, announcements must be in the Event Announcements and Ads section and are limited to "active" members of Salsa Forums. Members who join and posts for the sole reason to "only advertise" and not participate in other areas of the forums, will have their posts deleted. Please avoid posts that merely provide a link to another site. (ex. "Check this out: www. blah .com). Please include information about the link how you think it would be beneficial for the other members.
While you may not be one whose intention was to post spam or just advertise, the moderating team works diligently to ensure that we discourage and/or remove members from the forum with intentions that are not in the best interest of Salsa Forums hence, the reason for SDSalsaguy's post.
Having said that, and seeing that you have been with us since late 2007, we encourage you to stay with us and become a more "active" member in other parts of the forum. Your thoughts and ideas are welcomed here.
Regards,
SF Moderating Team
