The essential elements of salsa!!

It seems a tall order. What I'm talking about is looking at the people who dance salsa and figuring out what moves are repeated often enough that they should be part of everyone's vocabulary. Moves that are not taught and emphasized enough.

I have two:

1. CBL/DQN
2. Inside turn

What are yours?

inside turn,
CBL 2-3 variations.... closed position, maybe right and left hand for variety

How about a cuddle and the hammerlock (both hands and cross hands) and hairbrush ... leader and follower and both combined. Followers what do you thing? for Sagitta what is DQN?? :)
