there must be a salsa cover version of hotel california - it is said to
be from marc anthony, but I cannot find it in google ..

can anybody help ?

Hi Laminar. Welcome to Salsa Forums. Sorry, but I don't think there is a Salsa version of Hotel California. At least, I've never heard it. :cry:

I thought I was very familar with Marc Anthony's work - I don't know of a version.

I've found a Spanish guitar version (almost Flamenco) by Kaare Norge (album A Mi Amor) - very nice, think I'll listen to the album this morning

Hey, I have heard a salsa version of Hotel California. My mom was hearing it with me and she told me it was Rey Ruiz. I personally don't know who it was, but it exists. Not the best sung, but nice.

How funny is this! :lol: I had this song in my CD collection and didn't even know it. It's on the compilation CD, Salsa en la Calle 8 2003 and it's sung by Mikael De Vante. Tells you how much I listened to that CD. I need to check my other CDs, maybe I can find something else we've all been looking for. :lol:
