Theres been about 7 explosions around london 6 on the london underground (tube,subway) and one on a bus(Russel Sq one), news released and by Tony Blair says that it is terrorist attacks, and Al Queada have apparently claimed resposibility for it.

Figures havent really been released yet on fatalities but theres hundreds of casualties.

I 2nd you peach i hope everyone checks in, as these attacks are scattered all around London.

Yes - I'm ok too - lots of people too close for comfort - and I normally drive through Russell Square on my way to bar salsa - where I was due to be heading tonight... :(

Way too close for comfort - my best friend was very close to it - I'm just so glad everyone is ok - and sending my prayers out to those who aren't - sorry for the separate topic starter - didn't realise this was here..

hi all,
today has been such a surreal day - like anyone who lives in london think it comes close to home cos so many friends and/or family are possibly in the affected areas. i fortunately left london just before the first blast so i'm ok as are people i know including some of my family who live a block away from the bus blast.
i'm glad all the londoners at sf seem to be ok
