one question

yeah I had a girlfriend that was taking salsa classes and one time she told me that she never felt so feminine like so woman while dancing salsa

i wonder if is the same feeling for other followers and why is that?

Well, it has to do with defined roles. One has to follow and the other has to lead. There are distinctive attributes that belong to following or females' part so to speak so in general, I would say that is why.....

As a lead, I found that partner dancing (including salsa) in general makes me more aware of caring and showing consideration for the woman on the dance floor. As a salsero, I think that the delightful sycopation and playful flirtiness of the dance also focuses feeling on the man-woman relationship. As a man, I adore women anyway!

I think that a partner dance also helps each focus all their attention on the other for a few minutes (or should do...) and possibly this also magnifies the above.

Then there is tango ...
