Any UK based dancers heading to Pakefield for the weekend ?

Weather is looking good and I'm starting to get in the mood :)

Not me, unfortunately... no weekenders for me until Bognor. :( Need to save up for my (non-salsa  ) trip to the Med later this year. Besides Pakefield is an awkward place to get to from up here, whichever mode of transport you use.

Have a great time, DD! :D

I'm setting off in an hour - hope to get there and sleep until tonight :D

I've downloaded the timetable and marked out the lessons I want to do - though this rarely is what happens !

lol - I won't be there until late because I'm working until 4/4:30 but hopefully might be able to get some sleep in the car on the way over... as for the schedule - I'm going to make it up as I go along!! :D

Was a fantastic weekend people!!

Just arrived at work having danced pretty much solid for three days and nights straight.

Was dancing until 3:30 this morning, left at 4:00am, just got into work having had about an hours sleep in the car and have a full day ahead of me...!

Still buzzing - met some great people, made new friends, caught up with old ones who I'd not seen for years...

Deeply dippy and I met up - lovely guy and a very nice dancer - all in all a very good weekend! :D

Claire's being kind :)

I tried a new move on her, wrapping my arm around her neck and pushing her head back through the gap ! Very odd move but it made us laugh.

She's a lovely dancer.

Another tiring weekend - though I made it into work for the afternnon.

Got to bed at 4am, 4 and 3.

Did lessons in Bachata (finally moving on to turn patterns), Role reversal, 3somes and Dips and tricks.

The role reversal was a laugh, as I was led into a cruifix / titanic, then dropped and stuck my arse up in the air :D Maybe you had to be there !

Gave up on the lessons in the end and danced in the bar for hours.

The last night I fell asleep at 8, woke with a start at 11 and didn't have a clear head for hours. Who knows what my timing was like

LOL - Trust me - those of you that weren't there really missed something with that role reversal class - a room full of guys doing the figurehead followed by a body ripple up from crouching position lead arse first was a sight to behold...

Much entertainment for the ladies...

I really wanted to go but I'm afraid I can't walk properly!! It would have been fine but I was demonstrating and helping teach dips to a couple of people on Sunday - and as a result my thigh muscles have seized up!!

Shows that I'm doing it properly though - as I was supporting all my own weight - but I'm paying for it now!! :(

Dipping on dancefloor etc is ok - but repeatedly dipping to demo/teach it has finished me off! I must have been repeatedly dipping for about 30-45 mins - painful!

I'm still walking like a robot today!!!
