I've just been looking at the hotels that the Salsa UK website links to for the UK congress where they have managed to negotiate "special rates" for the congress weekend. Picking one that I could also find on the HotelClub.com website I found this:

So if you book a single room for three nights you will pay almost 90 pounds more using the special salsa login than if you book from an unrelated website. Shop around...
