David problems accessing the site

I am having some serious problems accessing the site, beside not being able to scroll down but half way, I can't seem to be able to stayed login in. I am unable to see the moderators forums. when I try to put my id and password it takes me to salaforums.com but is a completly white page

I am also unable to send PM as it ask me to login which takes me to the white page.

for some reason it lets me post new messages ( I can't reply if the thread is too long as it stops scrolling)

Addition to the above, another one of the errors I get:

Not Found
The requested URL /index.php was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
Apache/1.3.37 Server at www.salsaforums.com Port 80

Having problems:

- staying logged in - occasionally getting asked for username and password, even though I have ticked the remember me box.
- getting "forum unavailable" messages - happens when I first try and load the forum, and also sometimes when I try and load up specific threads (from the Recent posts page).
- I think due to the "board/forum unavailable" messages I have lost some "recent posts" history. Hopefully when the first two issues are resolved, this will be resolved too.

Just got the same myself! Second time tonignt! :headwall: Weird...no problems last night but tonight, it started again. :?

I've been having the same problems, haven't been able to log in all week, or the page just hasn't been showing up. Or I have replied to a post and then it never actually appears. I

The most frustrating thing is that you can't log in to say you are having a problem not being able to log in.

Ahh, hadn't thought about the www. and non www. domains. That could have *something* to do with it.

Last day or two, it all seems a lot better. :)
There's another forum I use that seems to have been suffering too but that one seems better now too. Which is nice. :)

Now I can post again. I've had problems this morning logging in to the site. Sometimes when I log in, I get the 404 page not found error, the same problem with FireFox 2.0.0.2, Mozilla 1.7.10 and Internet Exploder 6.0.2900.2180. Meanwhile I can furthermore process the log-in page, but the outcome is that I'm still not logged in (returns me to main page with the title Log In to the right in the Menu). If I press the buttons "FAQ", "Members" or "Profile" I am taken to a new page where the title says I'm logged in, I could e.g. access my profile settings.

When I tried to post a reply (earlier) I was taken to a blank page.

The problem seemed to go away when I checked the "log in permanently from this computer" on the log-in page, or otherwise it was just a coincidence.

While logged out I could browse the forum, but I had the notorious "scroll to bottom" problems.

pr has suggested some settings changes that I've tried setting accordingly. Hopefully these will resolve some (or, fingers crossed, all) of the problems we've been having recently, so please keep us posted on what issues, if any, continue to arise.

Please delete your browser cookies and restart your web browsers... :) Maybe you also need to delete the browser cache. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it will work now. :D :P

Just FYI. This problem is getting more and more frequent. It's now a daily thing which really makes it difficult to address administrative issues which took me 1.5 hours to handle today and normally, it would taken about 15 seconds. :(

Agreed. I wasn't seeing this until mid last week when it started happening a lot :(

Just to say the forums have behaved themselves today - no problems at all.
Before it seemed to work for half the day and then go all odd after lunch.
