Here in stockholm there are clubs and places that turn down guys from 23 and under while girls (if dressed properly) can waltz in from about 16 and up. It's foolish and I've never faced that kinda stuff back home in Canada :p.

hmmm.... age regulations... not enforced in Romania, but they exist... and I think they should be enforced!

You can see 14 or 15 year olds in clubs... and it is sad, 'cause they get soooo drunk and even high on drugs... this is why I think such regulations should be enforced...
On the other hand, club owners earn a lot of money from selling booze to adolescents...

Oh. Misunderstanding here I think. I certainly understand and agree with the idea behind age restrictions. What I find/found problematic were the male/female differentiation of age restrictions.

I don't know about such differentiation in my country... I don't think it exists...

The reason behind is that guys are more likely to get drunk and create trouble... even though I've seen girls create much more trouble... :)
