Ok, Jaime Roos, Uruguayan, composed the lyrics to a song called "Amandote".
As far as I know, there are at least 3 different sung versions of this song:
the one sung by his composer Jaime Roos, which is not at all salsa-like.
there is a version sung by Ruben Blades on his disc "Rosa de los Vientos", which is very good, and has a salsa beat to it.
but, there is a third singer. I have heard this third version twice now in my life. It is a female singer, and I believe the best of all the versions I have heard so far.
I don't know who she is, what her name is, nothing. Please, if anybody knows what i'm talking about, please help me find out. If only a name, a link, a disc, anything!
thank you so much
