I would like to announce that here in Manila, we have started a movement that promotes SALSA as a cosmic dance. Salsa as a dance integrates what is already there in Philippine culture, reviving Hispanic influences such as the dances of Habanera, Pandanggo, Mambo and Cha-cha blended with today's more popular steps from modern Salsa to Hip-hop. We promote Salsa as a dance that can bridge the gap between cultures - among people of various ethnic backgrounds, social classes, and different generations (young and old). Salsa, for us is not only a dance for fun, but one that can bring wholeness to the self and to people. Salsa is a medium by which the Spirit express and manifest itself. As a movement, we offer free dance lessons on Salsa. We can also give free dance lessons on Cha-cha, Cumbia, Mambo, Bachata and Merengue or any other related dances of Salsa.
