Just a couple of changes to the above event:
Firstly, we will be running only 3 rooms as the lambada crowd will be out of town at anotehr festival
Secondly, we will have a showcase from Mauro and Eva

Ok, with regard to the website I know what you are talking about now. You see, we were given 4 Saturdays at SCALA (normally we only run Bank Holiday Sundays). I did not update the menu section of the website to show SCALA as a Saturday night venue (generally we run monthly events at The Rocket/LatinaMax).

Excellent, thanks for the amazingly fast reply!
Currently trying to sort out logistics of getting there, getting back, and the comical idea of somewhere to sleep (I hear the benches at Paddington are not the best place!).

I came, I saw, I danced, had a good evening.
I heard it was a bit quiet, I was expecting to see more people, upstairs (Cuban) wasn't so busy :(
Cheers,
Swannie

Yes, it was quieter than usual for the following reasons:
1. Salsa Fusion was also on (but with reduced numbers ~150 or less due to us)
2. Salsa Republic was also on again with reduced numbers
3. The Lambada room was closed as the majority of lambada crowd were out of town at a festival (which reduced our crowd by a further 100.
4. This is the first event of the year, and it being January everyone is still skint.
However, we still attracted just under 500 through the night and it wont affect the numbers reaching the usual 1200+ at our next event at which I hope to see you.
