Thanks to Mexigabacho, I got another idea for a cool thread. :) State some scientific fact and a question requiring an answer so that the member who responds can give some erroneous answer that is dance related. Once you’ve solve the problem, sort of. ;) Give another scientific fact with a supporting question so that someone else can be creative. The idea is to be as creative and ridiculously humorous as possible. Have fun and no hijacking or quoting please.
First One:
If the speed of light is 186,000 miles per second or 299,792,458 meters per second then what is the speed of darkness?
The “speed of darkness” is determined the cross body lead when your eyes are closed. It does not matter who is leading or following. Once the cross body lead has been executed, multiply it by the beats per minute of the song that you’re dancing to by 5. Note: The speed of darkness will vary from dancer to dancer and will only be accurate for that particular cross body lead executed at that moment.
If water is tasteless, then why does the water in Florida taste different from the water in New York?
