Hi Leona.
Are you looking for group classes or privates?
If Highbury & Islington is accessible to you (North London, Victoria line), on Mondays there is a class by Jim & Susan (Salsa Caribe) which is quite good. It is friendly and there is dancing afterwards.
On a Sunday, Jim & Susan also do classes (two hours?) at a dance studio called The Place, which is near Euston, Euston Square and King's Cross stations.
Janet (also spelt Yanet) of Rafael & Janet fame is also very good. She is Cuban however, I am not sure if she is doing regular classes now. I have a contact number for her, so it wouldn't be difficult to find out.
Although not in London, another female teacher you could look out for is Kerry Ribchester. She is also very good and occassionally runs classes in London. Her website:
www.key2cuba.com
I don't remember the website off hand, but there is a London promotor operating under the name of "Afro Cuban Pati'". I have only been to one of their events and they were also good. They do classes before their events which I believe is usually once a month on a Saturday. Will let you know the details later.
I started with Cuban and then moved on to crossbody/On1 and it appears to me that a lot of classes in London are predominantly On1 now. That said, if you are interested (have the time and can afford it), sometimes classes are held at various weekenders (often taught by Janet & Rafael).
Incidentally, there will be a cuban weekender/festival in Germany later this year which is in the Annual Salsa Congresses & Events thread which could be interesting.
Is there a particular reason why you are looking for a female teacher (eg. styling)? Osbanis is a male teacher (excellent! and full of energy!!!) who I suggest you also look out for.
I hope this helps.
