La Noche de los Gatos

Anyone know what genre this is? It looked like they were dancing salsa briefly at one point, but it doesn't really sound like salsa. It's a cool video, though.

i wonder if you know "Ojos de Brujo" aswell ?
another interesting spanish group who fuse flamenco, hip-hop, rock and with many other things, including cuban and indian rhythms, the flamenco dancers also play a percussive role as tap dancers in the concerts.

though i would confes i dont listen to them much now, they expanded my musical horizons and were definitly key to my transition to eventually listening to Salsa music :)

Come to think of it, I liked flamenco before I discovered salsa, too. Then again, I guess flamenco has been around a lot longer.

Anyway, I'll check out Ojos de Brujo. Also, you probably already know about Estrella Morente. If not, check out her song "Sevillanas de la Vida" (including the English translation). Wow.
