Salsa venues with live music in Europe

I'm just coming up to my 20th wedding anniversary and am trying to find a venue anywhere in Europe (I live in Scotland) that:

- Has regular live salsa music, either from a resident band or from visiting bands

- Has a restaurant

- Has a dancefloor

- Is fun and worth a visit

I've been to lula in Toronto and absolutely loved it when I was on holiday in North America. I'd like to find something similar closer to home - anywhere in Europe.

Any ideas appreciated. Googling hasn't turned up much so far.

Cheers,

La Floridita in London (soho)? floriditalondon.com

Has live music including a Cuban salsa band (Cuba 4) some nights, see the listing on their website.

The venue is great, 1920s style, you can get dressed up and won't stand out, only has a v small dance floor though, but people do get up and dance - not sure many are actually salsa dancers though! Cocktails are totally amazing, some of best in London. Food is expensive and not worth the price, but decent enough, service is often slow and snooty. Make sure you book the second sitting so you don't get kicked off your table! Basically it's fun if you go in with the above knowledge and just relax and enjoy yourself.

Personally I would go eat somewhere like Arbutus on Frith Street which is Michelin quality without the price tag, and then go to La Floridita for cocktails and to listen to the music/dance. I did this for a Birthday once, was fantastic night, and the reason I eventually started salsa.

Barcelona might be worth looking at. There's a place called Habanna (?) Has a live band some nights and nice Cuban food. Starts very late though. Cuban style dancing, venue not the most atmospheric.
