Hold on to your hats! Tirso will be at SOBs in NYC on February 19th and we should be getting a full list of tour dates soon! Yeeehaaaw!

I don't know yet but it seems to be the first confirmed date. I should be getting a list of musicians soon too. As soon as I know more I'll update. Hopefully there will at least be a few California dates as well as something in Florida.
 
These are the other places that are awaiting confirmation so far:
Florida, New York, Queens, New Jersey, California, Boston
 
The SOBs date has been changed to March 2nd at 11:00pm and is now actually in the SOBs calendar. I don't know if the other dates have been pushed back. the website http://eventosdm.blogspot.com/ still has the mid-February date, but I have sent in a question to see if there are any changes.
 
OK the SOBs date has been changed once again, this time to March 30th. Since he'll be in the US for a month I'm sure there will be more concerts and I will update his tour page as soon as any more concerts are confirmed.

I took this picture of a poster at Chango in Queens (Astoria) the other day as I was passing by. He'll be there Friday night.

If you go to one of the concerts I would like to hear your concert report. Very curious about who the musicians will be.

I know there are people trying to set up some stuff in California and I can't imagine he'll be in the US for 6 weeks without playing in Florida.

I would like to go the Chango show on Friday but I'm playing in another club at the same time. I like SOB's, so maybe I can make that one.

There are some amateur ( poor quality ) videos on youtube of Tirso Duarte gigs from this past weekend in Queens and New Jersey. I only recognized one musician, a trumpet player who is a regular on the New York salsa scene. Hard to tell who is there from the videos I saw.

OK. I hope the audio isn't too horrendous. I heard from a friend who was at the New Jersey concert a brief report:
"I went to the event on Nj. It was excellent. I heard that his presentation on Ny
was fine."
