Just wanted to share with you guys a site that my friend and I have been working on:

Salsa By The Bay

Basically, it is a resource site for everything salsa-related in the San Francisco Bay Area. The site features an up-to-date calendar of events, profiles of all the local instructors & teams, and the latest Bay Area salsa news.

If you're ever in the San Francisco area looking for places to go dancing, check out our site!

Thanks for creating this.

Good site! There hasn't been a single source to checkout what's happening since salsagang died.

Calendar is very good.

I don't see any Cuban style instructors (not counting Gary). And I don't think Anya lives or teaches in Bay Area.

If you have time it might be useful to use google maps to create a salsa map of bay area.

Hey Offbeat, thanks for the feedback!

I don't know of any Cuban instructors besides Garry and Chris & Jessica from Santa Cruz. I'm always happy to update the site, if you have any info we're missing.

The map is a good idea, it could be good for people who are more visually oriented. We're actually working on putting together an illustrated map right now, but once that's done a Google map might be fun to do.
