An Afro-Brazilian group will be playing instead. It seems that promoters are delaying the Hermanos Arango trip to the US to try to arrange some bigger event, maybe a full tour. In the meantime the Arangos have been working on a project called the Guanabacoa Social Rumba, where they record with the greatest stars of the Cuban folkloric genres. A DVD of Hermanos Arango with founders of Conjunto Folklorico Nacional will be out soon!
Hermanos Arango in Boston
The Arangos came to Boston in February for a concert and a couple of clinics for the students at Berklee. It was a great show!
